Characteristic of FRP
1.lightweight and high strength
The relative density is between 1.5 ~ 2.0, only 1/4 to 1/5 of carbon steel. The tensile strength of FRP products is closed to or even better than carbon steel, Its strength can be compared with high alloy steel.
2.Good corrosion resistance
FRP is a good corrosion-resistant material with good resistance to atmospheric, water and general concentrations of acids, bases, salts and a variety of oils and solvents.

FRP is an excellent insulating material used to make insulators.
4.Good thermal performance
The FRP material has a low thermal conductivity and is 1.25~1.67Kj/(m`h`K) at room temperature. Only of metal 1/100~1/1000. It is a good insulation material.
